We cannot and should not stop people from migration. We have to give them a better life at home. Migration is a process, not a problem.

HELP
Some 70 per cent of the over 1 million Syrian refugees in Lebanon now live below the Lebanese extreme poverty line, a big rise over 2014, and food insecurity is mounting, the United Nations reported today, calling for greater access to the domestic labour market to mitigate the crisis.
The refugees have fled extreme violence and massacres in the Darfur region of western Sudan, where a massive mobilization of humanitarian aid is also urgently needed. Paradoxically, the nutritional situation for many refugees is generally worse inside refugee camps, several of which are operating way beyond capacity.

According to the International Organization for Migration, some 200,000 Afghans applied for refugee status in European countries last year. And according to the United Nations refugee agency, UHNCR, there are roughly one million internally displaced people, or IDPs, in the country, which has a population of 30 million.
Nearly one million Somalis in refugee camps in the Horn of Africa and the surrounding region face growing hopelessness as their displacement drags on for decades and donors become fatigued, a senior representative with UNHCR, the UN Refugee Agency, has warned.
