ASSIGNMENTS 4HWa and 4HWb
Here are all the assignments made by the pupils of 4HWa and HWb. We start with a beautiful drawing by Pieter Aertbeliën. The drawing is called 'Message in a bottle'.
Here are some interviews with people who migrated to Belgium some years ago ...
Here you can find a definition of migration:
And here are two short movies:
And, finally, a poem by Amber Lemoine:
Refugees
Fire, guns and explosives everywhere you can see
the violence and terror can’t be avoided
It was such a chaos one year ago
Hundreds of people have died every day
Choices are forced to be made fast
Live or die? Escaping or living in a murdering country
Lots of innocent people have lost their families
Bodies are drifting every week on the water
Again and again people die while attempting to start a new life
Children cry because of their ignorance about what’s happening
Why are my parents gone and why do men want to kill me?
Families will be murdered by the flow that drags them along
Only a few of them stay alive on the boat
~Live every day like it is your last and be happy with what you’ve got
